How do I add other clinicians and family members as supporters on neumind?
We've designed neumind to be a collaborative space for rehabilitation, recovery, and everyday support. Individuals can be added as "Supporters" to a client's group. Once accepted by the client, Supporters can see, create and edit the client's schedule on neumind so this should be a caregiver, family member or clinician involved in their care, and someone the person knows and trusts.
❗ You should make sure your client is aware that anyone connected as a supporter can see information entered into their app.
Adding Supporters to a Client
Using the Dashboard
Once you have added a client and they have accepted your invite, you will automatically be added as a supporter in their group and you will be able to use neumind to support your care. You can add other team members, collaborating clinicians, or caregivers from the dashboard by selecting 'add supporter' and adding their email address. They will get an invite email and code and email that will allow them to join the specific client group:
Note: Once a supporter is added, the client will be notified in their app and they will have the option to accept or decline the invite.
When adding a client, you have the option to check a box which allows them to invite supporters themselves. You also have this option when adding a supporter to a client. For example, you may have this checked when adding a primary treating practitioner, but not for a carer. You can also add supporters to a client group whilst their invite is pending which may be useful when adding team members or other known collaborating practitioners who work with the client.
Adding External Practitioners as Supporters: You can absolutely add professionals who may work independently or with another service. However, unless they have their own neumind subscription, they will only be able to use neumind with the client they are invited to, and they will not be able to access features such as Team Resources.
Using the App
Anyone using the app (clients, carers or clinicians) can link with another carer or family member as a supporter through the neumind app. The video below shows how to link with a family member or caregiver on neumind.
