Feature restrictions
Simplify your clients neumind experience with Feature Restrictions
The neumind app has a range of different features. It was highlighted to us during our Early Access program that some clients may feel overwhelmed by the choice and complexity in the app when using it. To help with this, we have some ways to simplify a users neumind experience, via feature restrictions.
Feature restrictions only have an effect on the app and not in the dashboard, where you can continue to manage all features on behalf of your client. By default, all features are “On”. However you can alter this.
If you configure a profile before adding your client then you can simplify neumind for them before they start. You can also restrict features anytime after a client has started.
Adjusting feature restrictions
You can change or adjust feature restrictions via the app or dashboard.
Adjusting feature restrictions in the dashboard
In the dashboard, navigate to the client that you want to adjust, and click on “Settings” (see screenshot below).
You can see that there are three features and one notification type which you may turn off. To turn these off, tap on them. When a feature is turned off, you will see a red “forbidden” icon by the feature, see screenshot below where the community is restricted.
Adjusting feature restrictions in the neumind app
In the neumind app you can adjust feature restrictions by tapping the menu in the top right corner and tapping “About & Settings”. In this section you can see App Details, Features, and Notifications. You can adjust Features or Notifications here, same as the dashboard.
As a professional, you can manage feature restrictions for your client if you select your client from the app home screen and then navigate to “About & Settings” as above.
Feature restrictions overview
Please consult the table below for more information on each restriction. You can request another restriction is added and we will consider it in due course.
